Made from found pieces of wood, the largest piece in the sculpture can be worn as a bangle and the tiniest piece can be worn as a pinky ring. The interior wholes of each part is painted with yellow acrylic and then sanded to a matte finish. From largest to smallest piece, the woods used are: oak, cherry, maple, zebra, walnut and lace. An old sanding belt was used in the creation of the burned textures on the outside of the pieces. The Cairn Sculpture is an amazing addition to a mantle or table center, incorporating various woods and a yellow pop of color.
